Observation

Window blinds located in the single story building were not properly installed with the manufacters anchoring brackets to prevent strangulation hazard. Windows located in the upper level of two story building (preschool rooms) do not have have a mechanism to prevent children from exiting/falling from window. Glass bulbs and/or glass light fixtures are accessible to children in the preschool rooms and bathroom. Fixtures and bulbs need to be shatter resistant. Hot water temperature in the preschool/toddler/infant rooms exceeded the maximum temperature of 120F. The railing on outdoor stairway has gaps between balusters that are 4 inches apart instead of 3.5 inches or less. Several outlets in both buildings were observed to not be tamper resistant with automatic shutters. Outlet in kitchen and bathroom lacked tamper resistant GFCI.
